Those times have past
And it has been long since we saw each other last.
Almost have come true, my fears
Leaving me with nothing else but tears.


Fears, I expressed when
You said not to worry then...
But time did change it's course
And now I crave for a glimpse of yours.


I know, my spirit is thine,
And yours is mine.
But when this mortal heart yearns for you,
These thoughts seem to be a way too divine.


If distances make hearts fonder,
Let it be known,
That I, with proud smiles would surrender
For I do not possess a heart of stone.


You came to me when I was barren,
You came to me when I was trusted by hearts of no men,
You came to me when my heart had nothing but infinite pain.
You came to me when I  was destroyed
You came to me when my spirit was all void.


You came like a summer tempest...
And brought out in me the very best.


You taught me to care,
You taught me to love,
You showed me everything that's fair.
And when at things unfair, I did with fearful eyes stare;
You held my hand and with a smile
Said, "I will always be there."


But time did change it's course
And now I crave for a glimpse of yours.
